MySpace Getting Rid of Spammers

With the expanding invasion of spam messages in the internet, MySpace has taken its most recent in a series of steps to combat exploitation on its web site. Accordingly, Scott Richter of Colorado has lately been ordered to give a total of US$6 million as damages and legal fee for spamming a great number of MySpace members.

Richter was previously accused of sending over millions of spam messages every day and had been charged by MySpace in January 2007 in relation to their August 2006 movement wherein MySpace users received unsolicited messages that promotes a specific web site. After the long negotiation, the terms of award were finally revealed. This award manifests the unrelenting momentum and approach to clear the site from spammers.
