Microsoft and Yahoo Still Trying To Work Things Out

It’s been four months since Yahoo constantly rejected Microsoft’s offer of surrogating while the software maker announced that the battle is not worth it. Microsoft Chief Steve Ballmer corroborated to offer $33 a share but Yahoo was embracing at least $37 a share or more than $5 billion that Microsoft was willing to spend, as indicated in a letter to Yahoo CEO Jerry Yang.

Just when we thought the discussion was over; it isn’t. Recently, the two verified that they are still trying to work things out. It was a tough game for Microsoft especially that its search share has been going nowhere alone, and now they desperately wants to team up with Yahoo’s. Microsoft could possibly overpay for a search share; nonetheless, it has shown great motivation to get back in the game.
